In a gesture of appreciation and community partnership Aster RV Hospital, JP Nagar inaugurated a modern police outpost to recognize the dedicated service of Bengaluru's traffic police. The facility aims to offer officers a comfortable space to rest and refresh while managing city traffic in challenging weather conditions.
The outpost was inaugurated by Dr. Prashanth N, CEO- Aster Hospitals Karnataka Cluster, and Mr. Sundhindra G. Bhat, COO - Aster RV Hospital, in the presence of Mr. Manjunath, Assistant Commissioner of Police (South Traffic Division). Mr. Manjunath lauded the initiative noting that such collaborations between civic bodies and law enforcement enhance working conditions and foster mutual respect.
Representatives from Aster RV Hospital shared that the initiative is part of the hospital's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts under the Aster Volunteers program-an international network promoting social and environmental causes.
CEO of Aster Hospitals - Karnataka Cluster Dr. Prashanth N said "There are ongoing community initiatives under the Aster Volunteers program, including lake cleaning drives, tree plantation campaigns, rural mobile clinics, and disaster relief operations across India and abroad. This is our first time building a police outpost. We decided to do this because of the continuous support we receive from the traffic police, especially during emergencies such as organ transplants. They have always responded promptly and selflessly. This outpost is a small token of our gratitude."
The program extends beyond healthcare, providing food, clothing and medical aid in crisis -hit regions.
The event concluded with Aster RV Hospital officials handing over the keys of the new outpost to the police department symbolizing a strengthened partnership between the healthcare and law enforcement sectors.
