Notandas Realty Pvt. Ltd. organises Nurses’ Walkathon 2025 as part of its CSR commitment to community wellness and healthcare
400+ nursing professionals from leading hospitals in Mumbai participated
Walkathon united hospitals, community, and partners in gratitude for the nursing fraternity
Notandas Realty, one of Mumbai’s most trusted names in luxury real estate, partnered with the India Infusion Nurses’ Society (INS) to host the first-ever Nurses’ Walkathon at Juhu Beach. The initiative was led by Col. Binu Sharma, CEO of INS, and envisioned by Madhavi Chikhale, National Florence Nightingale Awardee, and avid marathon runner, along with fellow Pinkathon Ambassador Prochy Master.
Over 400 participants, including nurses from Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital, and Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, walked shoulder to shoulder with Pinkathon members and community supporters along the scenic Juhu shoreline.
Commenting on the initiative, Harsh Jagwani, Managing Director, Notandas Realty Pvt. Ltd., said: “We are honoured to support this unique initiative that celebrates the noble profession of nursing as part of our CSR commitments. Nurses are the backbone of the healthcare industry, bringing the highest level of care during our most vulnerable moments. This also reflects the Notandas legacy of recognising the silent warriors of our society. Through this Walkathon, we hope to inspire more platforms that acknowledge and celebrate their invaluable contributions.”
The morning began with high-energy Zumba sessions led by certified trainers Deepa Ahuja and Rochna Khanna, followed by an uplifting Laughter Therapy session with Suvarna Joshi. A cultural highlight included a Kalaripayattu demonstration, while the beats of a 17-member African Drum Circle created an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Commenting on the broader vision, Col. Binu Sharma, CEO and Founder Member, INS India (US Affiliate), said, “The Infusion Nurses Society (INS) is a professional organisation advancing infusion nursing through education, research, and evidence-based standards, while promoting innovation. INS is committed to excellence in vascular access and infusion therapy, empowering nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.”
Prochy Master said, “This event is our way of telling nurses that their work matters, that their sacrifices are seen, and that their strength inspires us all. By bringing together hospitals, Pinkathon members, sponsors, and the community, we are creating a movement of gratitude and respect.”
