Mumbai, November 14, 2025: In a significant step toward democratizing access to high-quality cancer care, Navya has been collaborating with regional cancer care centres across India. The initiative seeks to make standardized, guideline-compliant treatment plans available to every cancer patient - regardless of geography or income.
In India, the National Cancer Grid (NCG) has established uniform, evidence-based treatment guidelines and Navya is making these NCG guidelines accessible nationwide through its system- and service-based approach that connects regional centers, clinicians, and patients to guideline-concordant recommendations. For underprivileged patients and those treated in rural or charitable hospitals, Navya provides this access entirely free of cost.
In a pilot initiative to measure and scale the impact of Navya Earthshot - its AI-based system - Navya is supporting all low-income patients with personalized, guideline-concordant treatment plans at no cost. Navya has already piloted the Earthshot system at government and regional hospitals in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Assam. Studies at these hospitals have shown that Navya Earthshot increases adherence to treatment guidelines, reduces time to treatment decision, and reduces non-mandatory hospital visits. Navya is now piloting the use of Navya Earthshot in the state of Maharashtra, where several regional hospitals such as Anand Cancer and Multispeciality Hospital, Nanded and Vivekananda Cancer Hospital, Latur have already joined the initiative, with more expected to follow in the coming months. The Maharashtra-focused CSR program launched in August 2025 has already benefited more than 1,000 patients so far.
This service is offered at no direct cost for underprivileged patients who can share a Ration Card, BPL Card, Income Certificate, or a government hospital admission card with the Navya team to determine eligibility. Eligible patients or their families can call 80888 87734 or visit - www.navya.care for guidance and registration. The Navya diagnostic and treatment plans for these patients are sponsored through CSR initiatives from corporate donors.
“This collaboration is a transformative step toward ensuring that quality cancer care is not limited by geography. By bringing access to tertiary care expertise and standardized treatment guidelines closer to patients, we can reduce waiting times, travel costs, and the emotional and financial strain that often accompany cancer treatment,” said Dr. Naresh Ramarajan, Co-founder of Navya Care.
For over a decade, Navya has been providing online expert opinions in collaboration with experts from Tata Memorial Centre and the National Cancer Grid, helping cancer patients and their caregivers receive evidence-based treatment guidance from specialists at India’s tertiary centers. The platform is also widely used by oncologists across the country for multidisciplinary tumour board reviews on complex cases. Several public and private health organizations leverage Navya’s expertise to validate treatment plans and ensure evidence-based and expert-vetted clinical appropriateness. The Navya system has been clinically validated and presented at several reputable national and international conferences.
Navya’s initiative aims to decongest tertiary centres while ensuring that patients in smaller cities and towns receive the same evidence-based care available at top cancer institutions, enabling faster treatment decisions with fewer hospital visits. Through Navya’s model, patients can access guideline-concordant treatment plans in two ways: onsite at participating regional hospitals, or directly from Navya’s platform - completely free of cost for low-income families. By eliminating long-distance travel and reducing logistical burdens, Navya is making cancer care more equitable, affordable, and accessible for all.
