Fortis La Femme Convenes GYNAECON 2026 to Chart the Future of Women's Healthcare

The Scientific conference focused on a comprehensive approach to women’s healthcare journey across adolescence, reproductive health to high-risk pregnancy, minimally invasive surgery, menopause and healthy ageing

Fortis La Femme hosted GYNAECON 2026, a scientific conference themed “The Future of Women’s Healthcare: Advancing Excellence in Women’s Health.” It brought together more than 100 participating doctors, specialists, and delegates. The conference served as a dynamic platform for exchanging pioneering medical insights, clinical experiences, and breakthrough ideas aimed at transforming the complete healthcare journey of women across all life stages. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd), Director General Armed Forces Medical Services (Retd), as the Chief Guest. Dr Bandana Sodhi, Director- La Femme and Dr Madhu Goel's, Director- La Femme were also present. 

The conference focused on the importance of providing women with a comprehensive healthcare journey across different stages of life from adolescence and reproductive health to fertility, pregnancy and childbirth, gynaecological concerns, minimally invasive surgery, gynaecological oncology, breast health, menopause and healthy ageing.  

The scientific programme featured discussions on emerging clinical approaches and complex cases in women’s health. Key sessions topics included Changing Scenarios of Adolescence, Decoding High Risk Pregnancy, Simplifying Laparoscopy in Complex Cases and Robotic Hysterectomy with Lateral Pelvic Wall Dissection. The programme also covered topics including endometriosis, infertility management, sexual health in menopause, GLP-1 therapies and nutrition, anaemia in pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus and precocious puberty.  

Speaking at the conference, Mr Anil Vinayak, Group Chief Operating Officer, Fortis Healthcare, said,
