Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital Screens CPWD Employees at Free Mega Eye Camp in Delhi
Camp held in partnership with Shivshakti Jankalyaan Trust promotes preventive eyecare and workplace wellnes
Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, in association with the Shivshakti Jankalyaan Trust and with the support of CPWD's Social Welfare Department, conducted a free Mega Health & Eye Screening Camp today at CPWD, MSO Building, IP Estate, ITO. A team of ophthalmologists and optometrists screened 77 CPWD employees, enabling early detection of vision issues and boosting awareness on preventive eyecare.
The screenings were designed to help detect vision-related issues at an early stage and to create greater awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups among employees.
The event was supported by Mr. Sanjay Ambasta, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, CPWD, who lauded the initiative as a valuable step towards ensuring the health and well-being of the department's workforce. He emphasized that employee health is integral to organizational productivity, and such preventive healthcare initiatives reflect the government's commitment to the welfare of its staff.
The camp was organized in association with the Shivshakti Jankalyaan Trust, a non-profit organization dedicated to community welfare, in partnership with Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital, one of the country's leading eyecare hospital chains. This collaboration brought together a government department, a philanthropic trust, and a specialized healthcare provider to make quality eyecare accessible directly at the workplace.
Speaking about the initiative, representatives from the Shivshakti Jankalyaan Trust noted that partnerships of this nature help bridge the gap between institutions and communities by delivering essential healthcare services conveniently and free of cost. Officials from Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital added that early detection through such screening camps can significantly reduce the burden of preventable vision impairment.
